Different days have been named after women. In Iran the birthday of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) is called the Woman's day. Today is the international Day of Women. Many organizations work for the issue of women. In line with the human rights- that naturally include the rights for men and women- the issue of women's rights is considered separately. All these namings, organizations and legal titles that separate women from men are a sign that women struggle with discrimination on a global level, something that definitely men are its creators. Women in Iran follow their own rights in an unannounced union; have opened many closed routes with their own ambitions and have suffered a great deal. With all the difficulties however they pursue their social rights even stronger and steadier. The most serious discrimination against women in Iran is being prohibited from running for the presidency position and the Council of Experts and not being permitted to hold ministerial positions. Indeed these discriminations result in the absence of more than half the society for the decision and policy making, the half that experiences more difficulties, is totally more educated than men and that their humanitarian feelings naturally could face the current violence best; so what they do now is to administer the policies made by men and to be present ceremonially in some governmental offices. The reasoning of some ex and present statesmen that there are no strong and executive directors in women's community is another judgment far from justice since we men have never provided the suitable foundation for the important jobs women can perform but still expect to discover experienced managers among them. We have also forgotten the grand errors we have committed in governing the country and due to our gender have imposed the cost over the society so that women continue to be absent from the main policy-making centers. Women for watching a football game have even received the kick of a low-rank police officer. Congratulations to all women of the world on the international women's day with the hope that women, like men, may gain all their rights, that no discrimination exists any more and that there would be no international or regional women's day as there is no men's day on any calendar.
