Birth anniversary of the prophet whom we need more than ever now

 

Many of you might have received sms or e-mails on the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ saying jokingly that: the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ is none of your business nor your family’s! This of course is a joke and I believe it is quite relevant to us. Besides the fact that Jesus Christ is a great prophet respected by all of us, his main slogan is peace and friendship which humanity more than ever needs it at present. The nature of religions is basically inviting people to kindness and friendship. This is contrary to the situation existing now when violence has become the voice of religions.

I congratulate the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ not only to Christians but also to those who love to live as humans.

On this day unfortunately two catastrophes have also happened. One the sad event of Bam earthquake two years ago and one Tsunami which happened one year ago. On both occasions many innocent people were killed and many families lost their beloveds.

In these globally happy days, we respect all those who lost their lives in these two occasions.
